With the help of Rob we put together a couple of teams to represent Lewes at the annual Royal Tunbridge Wells Fencing Club Team Epee Competition.

Congratulations goes out to the Junior Team of Odhran, Gus and Chris who came first.  Whilst there were only 2 junior teams, The Lewes Lefties had some competitive fencing as the Poole of six teams was made up of four experienced Adult Women Teams.

The Adult team had a completely different outcome for the day coming last out of the 9 entered teams, however this does not tell the full story as the team made up of Simon F, Gordon M, and Simon J tried their best but the competition was too strong, several of the teams were made up of Ex Commonwealth and GBR Fencers and were certainly a lot more experienced when you consider Lewes club has barely been running 6 months.

It was a fun and enjoyable day albeit it with a disappointing outcome.
