Overview
Lewes Fencing Club is committed to protecting your right to privacy as a user of our website and as a member of the club. It is our policy to respect the privacy of private communication. Lewes Fencing Club will always adhere to the UK Data Protection Legislation. This Privacy Policy only relates to the Lewes Fencing Club site and does not extend to your use of the Internet outside of the Lewes Fencing Club site.
What data do we collect?
We collect the personal data you give us when you:
- complete the membership form;
- sign up for a course or taster session;
- pay your fees online;
- contact us by email.
For fencers under 18, this includes details given by a parent or guardian. We hold this data purely for the administration of the club.
Where is it held?
The membership and sign-up forms on this site are provided by Zoho, and the information you enter is stored in the club’s Zoho account. Zoho may store this information on servers outside the UK. Online payments are taken by PayPal; the club does not see or store your card details.
What we don’t do with it
Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your further agreement, other than the service providers named in this policy who store or process it on our behalf.
How long do we keep it?
We may keep your data for up to 1 year after your last visit to the club.
Your rights
You have the right to see your data and for your data to be deleted. To ask for either, email us at enquiries@lewesfencingclub.org.uk.
