Hope you had a fantastic Easter. Now it’s time to pick up those blades again!
We hope you had a wonderful Easter break — and perhaps enjoyed one or two too many chocolate eggs! 🍫 The new term is just around the corner, so here’s everything you need to know.
📅 Term Details
New Mini Session (9:00–10:00am)
Dates: 12th April to 17th May 2026 (6weeks)
Fees: £48 for the term — payment due by 12th April
📢 Looking ahead: The following term will run for 7 weeks — 31st May to 12th July

Sunday 10:00am – 12:00pm (Fencers)
Wednesday 7:00pm – 9:00pm (Fencers)
⚔️ Women’s Fencing Course
We had a hugely successful Women’s Day on Sunday 8th March to celebrate International Women’s Day — thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a great event and to everyone who gave up thier time to run it.
Building on that success, Della is running a woman-only course for people 12 and over course starting Sunday 19th April, running for 6 weeks. If you know anyone who’d like to take part, please encourage them to get in touch with the club.

18th April — Burgess Hill
Sussex County Junior Épée
Entries are still open — but close at midnight on Thursday. Open to anyone under 18, with age groups for U10, U12, U14, U16, and U18. A great local competition and an excellent introduction to competitive fencing! Entry is via Sport 80 here https://bf.sport80.com/pub/e_locator/events/view/40511
4th–5th May — Sheffield
British Youth Championships
Those of you who qualified earlier in the year will already have received your invitations. Good luck to everyone competing!

We have a regular team of helpers, but extra hands always make things easier for everyone.
💻 Webmaster
Help us redevelop and modernise our WordPress website — and make it a bit more funky!
📋 Course Admin
Assist with filling courses and managing admin to keep a steady flow of fencers across all age groups.
👋 Parents’ Rep
Be a friendly point of contact for parents during sessions, while coaches and committee members are busy on the piste.
